well my blinkers and sidemarkers alternate when blinking now but my blinkers aren't on with the headlights when not blinking.

I was thinking of connecting the red sidemarker wire to the ground of the blinker. any Electical guys here who think this would work? when you activate your blinkers the green wire will have voltage across it and it should turn the blinker off cuz the potential difference will be 0. or will this blow a fuse?
