I think the answer depends on your application.

For lugnuts, the 1/2" is probably best. Personally, I have a 1/2" from Harbor Freight, and the price is very competitive, and I have never said, "I wish I had a 3/8" or 1/4" torque wrench." Incidently, for the price of any one of the torque wrenches that you are considering, you can probably buy all 3 from Harbor Freight.

Dependa on what size sockets you have

Don't you think you should be the wrench that fits the sockets you already have? If your collection of sockets is 3/8 then duh get the 3/8 wrench. If you have a nice collection of 1/2 sockets, the 1/2 inch would probably be your better choice.

3/8" drive and purchase an adapter to fit 1/2" sockets. I rarely need my 1/2" sockets (21mm and larger); 90% of my sockets are 3/8" drive.
