quiet exhaust??

quiet exhaust??

anyone know any good exhaust that is quiet??
i want to get an exhaust for my 99 max gxe but i dont
likke the loud noise....a lil noise is ok

I think Apexi is the quietest cat-back exhuast.

I asked the same question and i was told to go with the APEX-I WS cat-back. i like the looks of them also.. Im gonna try to get that one for mine.

i checkd out custommaxima.com...greg has apex cat back
but it says only for 95-96 max....will it fit my 99 GXE??

Yeah it will, i had it on mine and got rid of it, way to quiet firmy blood, lol nice looks though enjoy, soounds just like stock.

can u feel a difference with the quiet apexi? i like
the quietness as long as it can put out a few hp

why spend 450 on a cat back when you can spend that on a y pipe and get more power. Just add a nice tip and you will be fine. Besides later on if you get the y pipe and cat back it will be too loud

y-pipe with apexi ws is not loud at all. Only time you hear it is when the rpm's are below 3000, anything after and the intake takes over.

yes but its still louder, some people dont like that much noise. But thats not the point. The cat back dosent make that much hp. If you want you can add a after market b pipe , but the stock end unit is fine , its not that restrictive. I just dont think its worth 450 $ for 2-3 hp

Barely louder, you cant hear it at all, driving around normal, you cant even tell. On whether or not someone wants to buy it or not to each his own. there was a difference in performance though. thats my $.02.
