I took out my old one and going to trade it in for a new rebuilt one. Figured I'd open it up to see if I can test the diodes and see how things work inside. I got the 4 or 5 long bolts out that hold the two sides together but couldn't tear them apart. I even used a mallet but it barely budge.

So does anyone have success with taking one apart? Also what tool did you use to separate them? Thanks!
