racing pedals
What do you guys think of these:

I emailed the vendor and they said they would fit on a 98 Maxima 5 speed. I not totally sure how they would be mounted. Does anybody have experience with these things? Is there a similar style pedal elsewhere? Thanks in advance...

actually, they aren't. i have a set taht are really similiar to those. the pedals have raised areas on the edges of the circles. they re alot grippier(is that even a word?) than the stock pedals when your shoes are wet. by the way, they look really cool. just my .02

I'm told to wear only rubber soled shoes
My friend has a set on his integra and had to wear leather soled shoes for a wedding; said the feel was totally different. Apparently your foot slips and you have to apply more force.

Thanks for the replies.
I also have heard of AE pedals, somebody was selling them on Ebay for over $50, but they don't have them anymore. Does anybody have these? I like the way they look, perhaps with the exception of the gas pedal (looks kinda wimpy)...

Re: racing pedals
My husband has some on his Max and they are cool looking. But, they are closer together than normal pedals, and it is hard to drive when you have high-heels on. So, don't drive with heels on.
Seriously, though, they are slippery when wet. I would try to find some with rubber on them. I'll ask him where he got his at and for how much.
