Got some Kumho Ecsta 720 Supra tires
#1
FYI for those of you interested..
I picked up 4 of these for my '98 SE - 215-55ZR-16
I got them in the middle of a long road trip in the southwest.
The verdict. Great tires comparedto those stock Goodyears. In Big Sur and Yosemite I took a LOT of nasty '10mph' turns well over 35-40 with ease and zero squeal..
They also handled well in the wet, although they were pretty new..
Spinning the tires out of first is still easy, although little rubber seems to be left on the road.
The noise level seems pretty good, a bit better than the balding Goodyears..
Oh, I hit an indicated 143mph with these tires in Death valley and in west Texas and they tracked very well..
For ~$85 each locally of $76 online these tires are a great buy.
I can't speak on longevity yet, but I can't imagine they'd wear out in half the time of some of those other $150 tires..
