Did they ever make a black interior for 95-99s? I've seen dark gray, and was wondering if there is a black.

I've seen black with all black leather interiors. The grey cloth interiors usually get the charcoal door panels, dash etc..

So to get the black door panels, dash and all that it has to be leather?

Black leather interiors have everything black. Only floor carpeting and floor mats are charcoal.
Black cloth interiors have everythign black, except the carpeting, floor mats, door panel inserts and the seats are charcoal.
On the SE/GLE models headliner is a soft padded material. I don't know if any of you guys noticed but on 97+ GXE models it is a hard cardboard like material. I know this is true for 97+. I can't speak for 95/96 GXE's though.
Also, 95/96 GLE models had the so-called "fuzzy" pillars. The A/B/C pillars are upholstered in the same, padded headliner type material to make the car look nicer. No Maxima 97 or above has that, except my GXE that is
97+ GXE have a different looking cloth compared to SE. The quality on the SE is better as well as the pattern is nicer. The GXE charcoal seats are a little darker than the SE.
I guess I would qualify as an interior expert since I worked on my interior so damn much. If you guys have anymore questions drop me a line.
