Cost to install struts?

I got some Tokico struts and was curious what I should expect to pay to have them installed(all 4 of them)..

I am keeping the stock springs and I don't have any time to even try to do it myself..

Any info is appreciated.

I also did a search to find this info out but didn't see anything..

I live in Houston, TX btw..

Thanks

I am getting Tokicos and Sprint Springs installed next weekend from GarageSPL in Seattle for $140.00

I did some checking aorund, and racing shops will do it for MUCH less than Midas or Firestone or any of the big chains.

Firestone wanted $250 and Midas wanted $600!!!!

Midas sucks!

Yep he's right.

And the nissan dealership near me wanted $600 to install tokicos. You should read up(search)on the subject and do it yourself. Its fun.

Chilton's says it's a 6 hour job?

I called a local performance shop here in Houston(ProAm) and he said according to Chilton's the front struts are 4 hours of labor and the rear 2 hours..

He thought those were high but that is what they go by..

He referred me to another shop for a better price.

Best so far is $260 for installation and an alignment..

yeah, definitely try to find a local import tuner-type shop. They'll do it for less and I would tend to believe they know what they are doing, since they do that kind of thing more often.

iansw, Racing Concept in Lynnwood quoted me $130 or $135 to install struts. They installed my H&R springs before for like only $60, but that was back in 98 or 99. I haven't gotten my KYBs yet, I dunno if I want to get the additional stuff for them or not yet.
