Need advice on a quiet complete exhaust system

I have a 95gle and I haven't changed a single component in the exhaust system yet ,so I think I should get around to it. I'm not gonna go stock again and some added Hp would be nice too. The only prob is I have an automatic and I hate modding an auto with all that noisy crap. Who makes or better yet what are your opinions on a setup that makes the least amount of noise. Someone said the Greddy was real loud and the Stillen Y is loud also. Gimme some help guys/gals. Keep in mind that I'm changing the entire exhaust. Thanks people.

you want an apexi cat-back, aftermarket cat ('cause they make it quieter) and a lined y-pipe. it will be louder but it won't be bad - more like a V8

Well a little noise is fine. I just want the quietest setup. I know any aftermarket components is gonna increase noise at least a little. I'm just looking for the most silent setup. Can't stand those corny civics and integras that i can hear a century away. A little noise is acceptable, droning and bees in a can noise is not!

Blue,

What is a lined Y-pipe and what companies make em?

nah it wasn't me...my max is pebble beige but i think i know who talkin about...i saw him at the Hess on linden and springfield(i live right around there) one time and pulled up along side of him. he said he was on the org but i can't remember his name. Anyway, doesn't the Budget Y make alot of noise? More than Cattman?

I know that warpspeed and cattman now line their flex sections to reduce noise. Just ask before you buy to make sure

Keep the stock muffler on. I have a CAI and a Cattman y-pipe and the stock muffler, this is very quiet. I hate loud cars, that is why I stuck with the stock muffler.
