Nice man. Hopefully I will get my Y pipe sometime next week. My bro will help me install it. I am probably going to get my Megan catback after sept. 22. Oh well.

a decent job still only takes 2-3 max, even if they have to weld most things on there.

you have a catback already and a y pipe so all they really had to do was weld 2 flanges to the new cat, and then remove everything and bolt it up. With the car that high in the air, and torches it should be done within 2-3 hours. 4 at the most and you should be heading home.

Congrats. Unlike you guys though, I have my own private lift and garage/tools so I did the work myself. Thank God...I saved myself like $500 in labor cause the rear header...was a PITf'inA lol.

By the way...in case some of you were wondering...I have SSAutoChrome Headers and Y-Pipe, Warpspeed High-Flow Catalytic Converter, Budget B-Pipe, and stock OEM muffler. It's not too loud but it does drone a bit. I don't think the muffler is really OEM for that reason.

Shouldnt be that loud at all and why you would want it to be is beyond me.
Y pipe doesnt really make a huge noise difference, the catback shouldnt either. The tone should get a bit deeper but not anything super loud. Unless your hi flow cat is louder then a straight pipe (which I also doubt) it would be the only component that would cause some noise.
Why a shop had to install it all for you I dont understand neither since your replacing everything, and it should have only taken a day at the most.
