Very regulary now, I'm hearing a pop/clicking sound when I tap the accelerator while driving in just about any gear. The noise sounds like it's coming from under the back part of the engine bay. I could be wrong though, but I know it's somewhere in the front. Somtimes if I tap the gas several times in a row while in gear, I can keep the pop/clicking sound going.

The car shifts fine, clutch feels fine and she runs as fast as a scolded dog. What could be making this sound? Is it somthing in the tranny? Like I said, I can only get this car to make the sound when I'm in gear tapping the the gas pedal. Any clues would be appreciated. Thanks!
