Y-pipe question

I have a 98 and I am looking to replace the Y-Pipe. I can get a deal on a used Y-pipe from a 2000 but it has an extra bracket on it. Both y-pipes are Fed spec and the 2000 is aftermarket. Is that the only difference? Should the 2000 bolt up without any clearance problems once the bracket is removed.

According to the www.cattman.com web site, 99-01 are the same.
95-98 are the same.
based on that information, it will not work.

Check his website as the pipes are slightly different in design.

The 95-99 Fed specs are the same and the 95-98 California specs are the same too. 99-01 california spec y pipes are the same and I also believe that 2000 fed specs will work...just dont take my word for it.

Thanks JSMax. I know the 2000 and 2001 has a bracket on the pipe. I want to know if that is the only difference. I belive it will work but I am not sure, I have the the same thoughts as 99BlackMaxMS.
