I tried searching for info on the 5th gen fed spec y-pipe to see if it would fit a 98 but it wouldn't let me search. It kept coming up you need 3 or more words. I wanted the info ASAP so I made a post for it and then the post got locked. It is great to know it will fit w/o too much hassle at all but what kind of hassle would I be looking at? Will it put extra stress on the flex? I thought the only difference was the bracket on the 5th gen so if I remove the bracket I should have the same Y-pipe as the 4th gen? Can anyone confirm this? Thanks in advance.
