I need to order a part and there is separate spec for up to 11/95 and post 11/95, both under the '96 model year. How can I tell the manufacture date of my max to see which I need? I looked at the VIN decoding info and didn't see any info about this date.

there is a VIN plate also located on your driver door frame which has your manufacturing date on it...

 

vin is best, door sticker also should have that info i think
