K & N Cone Filter

I am thinking of installing a K & N Cone Type Filter on my Max. Does anyone have or know where to get instructions on doing this...what I need to buy...etc? I was thinking of going to my local PEP Boys and seeing what they have.
I also know that there are a couple of sensors that need to be relocated. Is it worth doing?
Any advice is appreciated..

Do your self a favor, go by a Stillen Intake. It will cost more money, but it will look and work about 100 times better than a K&N modified via back yard mechanics to make it fit. I once had a K&N setup that I got on e-bay. I thought it was great until I saw the real thing and relized how cheesy mine was. Do what you want, as they will both give you the same results in terms of hp gain etc.

Ok, you just contradicted yourself. First you said it will work 100 times better, then you said you have get the same performance results.

Anyway, where can I get an adapter for the K&N coner filter?

It's no contradiction. The ones you are looking at tend to fall off, even with the proper adapter. Require you to fabricate a home brace to secure the filter. The end result is that your brand new filter looks like a science project gone wrong. Will it give you the same gains ? Sure. But why would you want to take a great car and trash it up with a piece of backyard mechanics ? Hey it's your ride guy, knock your self out.
Peace Bro.
