vlsd vs open diff

Hey guys, i blew out my trans and am going to replace it with a used/rebuilt one. Do the vlsd's interchange with the open diff tran's or am i going to need to replace the imput shaft and both cv's?

Is it worth spending the money to get the vlsd or should i try and get an open diff and do one wheel peels?

Do you really need a VLSD for the way you drive or what you do?

The vlsd will bolt up to your car but you will need a vlsd driver side axle.

Unless you do a lot of auto-xing or winter/snow driving, I wouldn’t say it’s necessary or will you notice it that much if you do not do any of the above.
