help with swap of homelink

Ok, heres what i am trying to accomplish.

My friend has a 02 infinity g20 and is trading it in for a 08 accord and i told him to take is homelink out with its rolling code feature and let me give him mine without the rolling code feature.

his visor color is different than mines

the thing is, i dont know how i would take out the homelink without tearing up the visor plus how to properly connect the rolling code one to my maxima. Any how-to's? I never seen one, help?

You have two options here, you can either get a visor from a junkyard or buy one from the dealer. I replaced the homelink in my old 97 Maxima and there really is no way (that I could tell) to take it out the visor without tearing it up. I don't know of any how to's posted here but it's pretty straight forward, believe me once you get it out there is only one way to put it in. When I did mine I just used a straight razor blade and cut the stitches along the seam, which made it easier to sew them up when I re-installed the new unit.

thanks for the reply, but are there anyone else out there that tried this and accomplished? I really dont want to buy another from a junkyard due to the fact that i only need it for couple of months for when i get my c-class and the max is handed down.
