I find it somewhat amusing that everyone gets so mad over re-posts about intakes and y's. Look at the number of replies and reads. They generally are the most popular thread on the first page. Yeah, newbies should research more and have better questions but that just isn't going to happen anytime soon. If you don't want to read a intake thread it is as easy as not clicking. And besides if everyone just searched for the answer regardless of the question I don't think any new threads would every be made.

Back to the question, an intake is an intake, everyone will have different opinions about them. The great thing about intakes is that they are easy to install/mod/replace/whatever, so try different things 'til you find something that YOU like.

part of the reason we don't want to see these threads all the time is because replies like yours posted in them. The fact is that intakes are not intakes. If they were then no one would ask questions about them. They each take and give hp so how can you say its just an intake? In that sence someone could buy a HAI expecting to gain hp all around and be real pissed when their car didn't pick up on downlow. But they are all the same right? Once you've been here for long enough you'll get just as mad at people posting questions you've already spent time explaining to others.
