Exhaust Pipes..

Now I have been doing some research on exhaust pipes, and I found some that I like. Stillen Race Pipes and I was wondering if anyone has them as well? I have been trying to look for other pipes as well, is there any other good brands I should look at? Alot of places here don't carry Stillen, or other brands. (I live in a small city). What are your thoughts about such pipes? Thanks alot for any help you can provide, I'm looking forward to the replies.

As in, the B pipe, y, etc...? IMO, there is no difference between two pipes if they are the same diameter and mandrel bent. Two stainless steel pipes bot the same size, both mandrel bent, one stillen, another custom bent, you should find no difference.

im assuming you are looking for a y pipe/downpipe. look into either warpspeed or lss exhaust (budget). both are ~250 for stainless steel new. if you are looking for a cat-back, either greddy sp2 or cattman. those are my preferences, im sure other people have theirs.

btw you arent gonna find any of this stuff locally most likely. you are gonna have to order it online

I'm assuming you've never been on google or used our free search function yet. Try them out.

Also go here, it should give you a good general idea of what you want:http://maxmods.dyndns.org/

Actually, I have used google. I should have been more specific, it is a y-pipe I'm looking for. I have looked into Greddy, Warp Speed and Cattman.

I'm thinking of Cattman Y-pipe
  • "Description: Most feel that this is the best overall quality pipe, and Cattman Performance brought the very first Maxima y-pipe to market in 1998. The Cattman y-pipe will contradict any competitor's claims of superior power, beating all others due to the quality of its design features (like a racing-grade 2-1 merge collector found on no other y-pipe), superior materials and workmanship. It is made out of T-304 stainless steel tubing from the Rath Mill, TIG welded for maximum strength, mandrel bent by Burns Racing, and uses a very high quality, lined flex section. Constructed on precise fixtures that allow zero dimensional variations across hundreds of parts, the fit and finish is flawless. Cattman y-pipes elimated the "bees in the can" noise five years ago (that others still make today). Never the cheapest, but ALWAYS the best!
  • Cheapest price: $350 from http://www.cattman.com but you also need to order gaskets for another $10."
Thanks for the link and all the help.

-Ryan.
