I just took a look at my Max. You need to get at the negative terminal of the battery, You may be able to get at it by removing the plastic cover underneath the drivers side of the car. That's only about 8, 10mm bolts, you may be able to see the battery from under the car. It would probably help if you can jack the car up a bit. I would then take a long wire (about 3 feet) with both ends bare. You basically need to touch one end of the wire to the batteries negative terminal and the other end to the body or frame (bare metal) of the car that would complete the circuit and you should be able to open it with your remote. Just dont touch the positive terminal. I did not see any other way to get at the terminal. Let me know how you do.

If you pop the grill out, it's child's play to pop the hood. It's been a while since I've had working attachment points on my grill, but I believe it should be possible the remove the grill with the hood down, with a little force.

if ur still locked out....cause its been a few weeks, then do this. i did it and it was very humbling.
you have to pry your door open with a flathead screwdriver, near the top right. Keep it in the door so there is a gap. then get a wire coathanger and unwind the top part, near the hook. Next unfold it so its like 3ft. long and try to put it through the little gap in the door.
You'll have it keep adjusting the hanger so it gets to the lock at the right angle. but after maybe 15 minutes, you should get it open.
My dad taught me this and it worked.

You only need a small gap to get the coat hanger in. Unwind the coat hanger and use a pair of pliars to make a L shaped hook. Reach in for the door unlock and yank.
Takes me about 5 mins or less.

I locked my keys in my car and if you pull on the farthest upper corner from the engine the door has a little give and if you have some sort of wedge you can put it in there and un bend a hanger it takes a little to get the hanger around or threw in my case but if you hook the hanger on the end really small you can hook the lock and unlock it.
