First things first, remove that intake. sell it and with the money you get from selling it buy a k&N drop in filter for the stock intake system, it'll outperform the Injen. Then learn to search and read the information thats all over the stickys.

Personally I believe that the stock system with the K&N drop-in (a little less than 50 bucks) works better then aftermarket ones. Although, if you insist on getting an intake get a Place Racing Cold Air Intake, it's the only TRUE CAI out there.

HP = Money--->if you don't wanna spend then don't mod. U could juice it, but u better b on point with tunning, A/F, etc. Things break and if u don't have the money for repairs...well -> you could cut a hole in the drivers side floor pan and Fred Flinstone it....

Try both back-to-back once. You have to be unbiased, though, and ignore the "cool noises" the aftermarket intakes make. The biggest advantage the stock intake has over aftermarket ones is the midpipe, which produces more low RPM torque simply due to it's design vs. a straight tube. It's all in the physics, which I don't remember enough to explain, but the information is out there if you search.

no it's really not. It's an inclosed filter getting cool air from the front of the car. It does pull some warm air but not that much. Ram air intakes sit in the engine bay and pull basically all hot air. I believe people have dyno'd and show better results with stock (depending on what the are running).

I think you should get a cool air intake, a NOS fogger system, a T4 turbo, an AIC controller, direct port nitrous injection, and a standalone fuel management system. It's not a bad way to spend $10,000.
