I want to disconnect the battery of my 1999 SE. Will I need a security code for my Bose Headunit? I just want to make sure before running into problems.

Other than losing radio station presets, should I worry about other things before disconnecting the battery?

You shouldn't need a security code, I didn't need on in my 97. Although if you do it's easy to get the code, just call up the dealership and give them your VIN number and they'll give it to you. At least that's how I did it with our honda.

 

Nope, no codes for 99ers, or any year for that matter.

 

No code required. Just plug n play.
