brake jamming

Hi, I changed my front rotors and pads a couple months back. Ever since I changed it, I have been some small problems. Usually, sometimes the brakes would just jam. After I press the gas to about 1500 rpm, it finally unjams followed by a big jerk. Before, it only did that when the engine was cold. Now, however, its getting worse. Does anyone know what can be done to fix it?

It sounds to me as if you have a seized caliper or two? Did you service the brakes when you did them?

Before replacing the caliper do this first............

Jack the car up (E-brake Up, car in Nuetral, NOT park) take the wheel off and get the brakes to 'jam' so that you can't spin the lugs. When it is jammed, crack the bleeder screw loose, if loosening the bleeder screw allows it to spin freely you have a rubber brake hose that has collapsed internally.

Also check caliper guide pins aren't sticking/frozen, check for even pad wear, and pop caliper off and check that the pads can slide freely on the caliper bracket.

Hmm, one thing I did recall not puttin was anti-sieze lubricant on the rotor. Will that fix the problem?
