How are we supposed to help you decide? It's your car. Do you want to be NA or FI?

There are several threads around here of people deciding between 3.0 and 3.5, read them, but it's mostly just up to you.

getting a turbo set up the right way is pretty hard but ones you have it set up you cant go wrong. i talked with a dude who was FI 3.0 and he loves it. but like said b4 it's what you want, it's your car.

I would say go with the 3.5. I swapped in a turbo IC setup into my other car(not a max) and it required a lot more maitenance and things were always going wrong from boost leaks to fuel mapping problems. Once you hit boost your into a whole different zone of tuning and for me it was a huge headache. Im sure some people here have run turbo setups without much problems but turbo engines especially +T ones are hit and miss reliability wise.

Id say go with the 3.5 swap and go for an all motor, or maybe if you really want boost look at stillen's supercharger kits, they look pretty straight forward compared to a +T setup plus you dont have the added wear and tear caused by higher intake temps etc from the turbo.

because you didnt have it professionally done. know its kind of a girly way to back down but if you want it done right let someone who can tune it right there after they set it up for you.

go with the turbo set up dude hittin boost its baller as ****.

Judging from this thread you created, you should stay stock.

the 3.5 swap will be more reliable and will create similair performance. Also it'll be less expensive in the short and long run.

Although as nmexmax said, based on this thread, keep it stock for a while.

how come nobody can decide what they want to do to their cars by themselves? Seems like so many people want the approval of this forum to work on their car ha. Just do some research and decide for yourself.

sometimes i get the impression from these threads that people are really just trying to ask permission from the very intimidating 300+hp guys on what to do...its like....NO SOUP FOR YOU!!!

but thats just me

i think your right. very little of this is about personal satisfaction, but more like social acceptance.

to the OP- your going to buy all the parts, and then pay somebody else to do it, and then your going to drive it and realize its not fast enough. But because you know nothing about what was just done to your car, you'll have no real sense of attachment to the project and then you'll probably sell it.

to some people its a more personal thing...where we want to accomplish or tackle something...build/restore something...and perfect it, etc. if you just want to GO FAST IN A CAR, your looking in the wrong place.

Personally I wouldn't consider a 3.5 swap until my engine starts having a lot of problems.

It may be better for you to do the same. But good luck with your decision.

well truth is if you wanted opinions from 3.5 and turbo guys you would go to all motor forum and the turbo forum and do some research, time slips, and that stuff for answers. Posting here made it like you wanted people to tell you which was better. It depends on setup and all.
