This gives us the impression that you have no knowledge of doing the swap.
You're welcome for the link.

my stock de is shot 152k on it....did compression test all cylinders are very low...car runs like poo soo...ima just throw the dek in there..its pretty much a direct swap.just a couple modifications and im ready to rock and roll

yeah it's not just a direct swap. There are a lot of things that aren't the same on the de-k as the de. Buy a good de and swap on the VI. A nicely tunned VI swap on the de is better then the de-k.

well sorry but you should deal. No need to call anyone a moron. Most of the time a newb says that then comes back looking for help. No one understands until you're here long enough. And yes, your original post def made it seem like you thought it was a simple swap. Do the de swap with VI.

it is alot of work tho dont jsut call it a direct swap i mean it is a dircet swap but u ve gotta change ur harness and i think some vaccumes and stuff to make it work with ur ecu... or just drop a mevi+jwt ecu and call it a day...

^^You don't have to change your harness, just a couple connections, for example you will need the injector connectors from the donor car. Mevi when he has a perfectly good '00VI? that's so pointless imho.
Tips in general for pulling a VQ? Would that help? (excuse the other guys, once you're around for awhile you'll understand, I could tell that you weren't asking to be spoonfed, but I could see how they made that mistake, spend some time on here and you'll understand)
Jack it up at your normal & safe working height on jackstands, disconnect everything, use the engine hoist (chain under lower intake manifold FTW, use a coathanger, it's a biotch but much safer, cut the fuel line on the junk engine, slightly bend the rails on the new one, this will make sense later), drop the motor/tranny & crossmember down on to the ground. THAN, lift the car off of the motor using the engine hoist. Toss the two engine/tranny mount bolts back into the brackets on the car, and use a tow-rope or really long chain, I prefer the tow rope so the bolt's don't have to take all the weight in one spot, but it requires you to loop the tow rope back and forth a few times and getting creative, I wish I had pics of the setup that I use now, it works awesome. Than use blocks underneath your jackstands, you can't extend the jackstands enough, it will be unsafe. Lower it onto the jackstands and place two wheels on each side underneath or something similiar, for added safety 'just in case'.
Hummm, might want to think about doing a waterpump for safe measure while the engine is out, trust me on this one, also make sure you jb weld your more-than-likely broken vias cup (research). The power steering belt is a lot easier to do when the engine is hanging in the air, and the fuel pump is cake when you can stand in your engine bay. Don't forget to remove your TPS if you have abs
