I'm looking to swap out my 95/96 tail lights for the 97-99's. (I'd also like to do the DTM mod after too heheh). Anywho, I found someone selling a trunk lid and tail lights from a '97 for a good deal. I have one pic to go off of and can't tell for sure if it's the same color as my car. The trunk lid is an hour away from me, so it'd be a huge pita to drive there and find out that it's the wrong color. I don't want to have to deal with paint.

He claims it to be Sterling Mist, and I believe my car is Pebble Beige.

Is there a similar bronze-ish color thats not the same as mine for the 97-99's?

 

that trunk in the pics definetly looks darker than yours, looks like kt3 not cg2. (assuming yours is cg2)

 

I'm gonna check my vin real quick.

That paint looks more metallic than mine though :/

 

it might be thats its dusty and the light is reflected from the flash or that it has been repainted, non oem metalic is somewhat "larger" than oem.

 

The best way is to match paint codes...
