Does anyone have a list of the paint codes for 97-99, and are they all the same as 95-96?

 

They propbably will not be the same. Even 2 Maximas of the same year may not be the same, as there are different variances to every color code.

What I'm saying is that if you has a PEarl White Max, and went and got a hood off of another Pearl White Max and put it on your car, it probably will not match exactly.

Most Nissans(Maximas included) have what's called "Tri-Color" paint. This type of paint cannot be blended to other panels like regular paint; you have to spray a certain amount of base on, then a certain amount of clear, and that has to have a certain amount of pearl. It's all about the shading, not nessecarily the mixture...

Why do you ask?

 

I always wondered why there was no list anywhere with the names, codes, and pictures..

 

Tatanko on here maintained a site with a list of codes and pictures before. Hell if I remember the address now though.

 

well i want to get a white grille and door handles, i hate chrome, and someone said they had a grille for me...which brings me to ask you guys, how much would you pay for a body colored grille in most likely good condition
