Factory remote keyless

When I bought my 99 Maxima ES last week, the dealer only gave me one remote keyless control. Is it possible to program the remote from 5th Gen to work on 4th Gen? The reason I'm asking is that the dealer gave my girlfriend 3 remotes for her 02 Maxima. She's willing to get me one if I can get it work. Thanks in advance for any answer.

I don't know for sure if it'll work, but you can always try to program it for additional remotes. If it doesn't work, just reprogram it (4 times I think) for your old remote. Else, they sell em on Ebay for about $10-$15 a piece.
