timing or drive belt question

hey just recently when i turn on my car and i put the ac on or drive it before the cars warmed up i hear a loud annoying squeling sound from the belts that are on the passanger side of the engine bay.. im not sure if those are the drive belts or timing belts but can someone tell me and how much do u think they will cost to be replaced?

This is a VQ, not a B-series. No timing belts.

Try tightening up the alternator/AC belt, see if the squeal goes away, if not, a new belt is under $10 at a local auto parts store, relatively simple replacement.

lol sorry.. had two hondas before so im still adjusting to this VQ power.. but yea i know for a fact its those belts on the right side of the car because when i drive for a while i can feel my pedal real rough but then i drop not a couple but pretty much a full bottle of lube on those belts and the pedal feels soo much easier and smoother to press down. so would changing this belt fix all my problems..

So what exactly are you lubing your belts with?

Have you entertained the idea that your 'full bottle of lube' on the belt and its squealing may be related?

no, it squels alot before i pour some on and squels a little less afterwards and then when i start driving its done squeling.. but without the lube juice.. the pedal feels real rough and with the lube juice.. it feels alot smoother.. and its this lubricant i picked up at my gas station.. just a universal lube.
