if my electric seat doesnt move...what could be wrong?

if my electric seat doesnt move...what could be wrong?

in my 99 max my seat stopped moving with the button..i checked fuses and everything is good...what else could possibly be wrong?

check the motor. probably went out on you.

the motor could be bad or stuck. try tapping on the motor with a screwdriver handle or pliers. if that frees the motor up then you'll need one soon. check power to the switch and to motor.

well i think my seat also might be stuck because i have my amp under my drivers seat and i think when it went back all the way (its stuck all the way back) it might have gotten stuck on the amp but i tried pushing the seat as hard as i could forward while i was pushing hte button


also...where is the seat motor located at?

look under the front of the seat, it's on the right side. can youhear any sound from the motor when you push the button? does the back still tilt forward & backward? also check for the #2 cause of jammed seats---change/money stuck in the track. usually a quarter. check closely on the console side of the seat.

nah i think it has to be the motor because the seat doesnt tilt either now that i think about it

nah no sound coming from the motor
