radiator question

My radiator has a leak in it so I want to order a new one within a few days. I was wondering if there was a difference between the auto and manual tranny radiators. Also where I could get a racing radiator for the max other than ebay. Thanks for the info.

look in your phone book for a rad shop, make sure they only do rads cause they'll do it faster than your average joe scmoe shop. auto and manual i think there is, but i would call around. i got a new 1 installed for 248.00 and the guy did it in 1 hour old 1 out new 1 in. good luck....

The only diff between 4AT and 5MT radiators is the trans cooler. If you're an auto, obviously you know which to get, if you're manual you can get either.

I just had a Koyo rad installed for my 5spd. Apparently their radiators can support both 5spd and auto.

Nearly all of the radiators on ebay support AT. If you're 5MT then either would work. Good that you're putting it in yourself. It's a really simple job and it was the first one I've done on my max.
