Annoying and embarrassing issue...

I have this noise that is coming from the brake system I believe. I have checked everything over twice. It is a constant weeeeeeeeeee noise if im driving under 20mph. I completely removed the brake dust shields. I read up that this may be the culprit. I cleaned and reinstalled everything.... I just dont know what else it could be, the brake pads are still thick and the rotors are newer.... I love the max but I cant take this anymore!!!

more info? 'weeeeeee' doesnt really give an accurate description, have you checked belts, etc. is it possible that you just dont hear it over 20mph or does it stop abrumptly?

sounds like a wheel bearing (but could be belts)...link below a good way to diagnose. Wheel bearings usually make a droning, humming, or whining noise. They'll continue to get worse if they're the problem.

You can also jack the car up, grab the wheel at 12 and 6 and see if there is play. If there is wheel bearings are dying.

I cant hear it over 20 mph, Its a sound similar to when your brake pads get low and need replacement. Im ruling out the belts as I had them replaced this summer. There is also no play with the wheels either, although im at 140,000+ miles so the bearings probably have to be replaced?

Check calipers for seizing. My right rear caliper was seized and made that noise.

If the sound is like "similar to when your brake pads get low and need replacement" as you say, then you might have the brake pads in backwards, this causes the squeal tab to make noise pretty much all the time.

Without a pic and based on what is posted so far, I would just double check that and maybe put some anti-squeal compound on the shims and back of the pads--if you haven't already.
