P1336 - POS sensor?

P1336 - POS sensor?

I have a trouble code P1336. The scanner says that it is "manufacturer ignition system failure or misfire". But the book says that it is crankshaft position sensor. Which one is correct and does anyone have an extra crankshaft POS?

its a code for the crankshaft POS sensor. it is mounted on the front lower side of the transmission. there is info on how to test it in the FSM on starting around page EC-341
