have installed a FSB on my 97 GLE an now every time i start my car, i hear a noise that sounds like my spring on the right side is hitting or rubbing something. the noise also is heard when i start driving after every complete stop.....
Any ideas?

 

Did you tighten the bolts to torque specs on your towers? Did you tighten everything up that you loosened? If you installed the FSTB with the car on the ground it shouldn't cause any probs. You didn't loosen the big nut in the center of the strut tower did you???

 

Yes i tightend the bolts to specs on the towers. the car was on the ground and no i didnt loosen the center nut on the tower. I will recheck the torque tomorrow but this is ****ing me off

 

The installation of a FSTB should not be the cause of strut/spring noise. Something else is up with your install. Is the bar on correctly? If it's upside down it may be hitting something on the engine. Check your installation again.
