Just pulled the codes from the ECU and it is giving me 0705 (EVAP) and 0309 (Undefined) but what exactly is 0309?!.

Anyone have a pic of where the EVAP valve and canister is located in a '98? Is it different than the '94-'95?

It definitely different than a '94, that's a third gen.

by left tire do you mean drivers side tire?

i think its under the fueling door area

If you're LHD, left side is always driver's side, if you're RHD, left side is passenger side.

Can someone confirm if the part number for '98 Max is the same as '98 I30? There are no local Infiniti dealerships near me and Nissan insist I need a '98 Max VIN number b/c 'it could be different'.. The ironic thing is the Nissan dealership WON'T give me the part numbers but they asked that I call an Infiniti dealership to get the part number from them and contact Nissan back to cross reference!?!?
