4th gen Brake light strip

Anyone know where I can get a new brake light for the OEM spoiler or is there a way of changing the bulbs in it. More then half of my lights are blown out in the strip.

The LED's in my spoiler brakelight strip went out completely, so I removed it (3 phillips screws hold the light assembly in), carefully pried it apart, and saw that a resistor had corroded. I matched the resistor up with one from Radio Shack (a pack of 2 was less than a dollar), soldered the new one in place, glued the 2 light assembly halves back together, reinstalled it in the spoiler, and was back in business.

I know these assemblies aren't supposed to be repairable but since the dealer wanted about $190 for a new one, I figured it was worth a try.

If only part of your LED's are out, you likely have a different problem. But it's worth taking it apart to check it out. You could have something even simpler, like a failed solder joint partway across the internal board (that the LED's are mounted on) that just needs to be resoldered.

Oh yeah, and since I couldn't pass inspection here without the 3rd brakelight, I even priced out an entire new spoiler. That was around $900 - less paint, of course.
