like the title asks, has anyone done a s2000 antenna on a maxima? my antenna is f'ed up and i have replaced with altima one with custom mount bracket, but now that one f'ed up and i need a new one. i'd rather have one with no power, and keep it a stubby.

im sure you could get it to work somehow but it doesnt look like it would be that easy, doesnt the maxima antenna extend pretty far into the body??

Ive been tinkering around with this idea. I got an antenna off an 07 sentra..i work at a dealership..dont ask how i got it lol.

Ive been playing around seeing if i could mount that antenna in place of the long UGLY stock antenna. The stock antenna ruins the look of the car when its up..it sticks like 6" over the car

Well the antenna has a threaded portion at the bottom, its so tight to work in though, because the motor is behind the metal plate, so theres very little room, im seriously thinking of just breaking the metal part of the antenna and screwing this thing in there some how.

IF you do happen to get it working..you should write it because i despise that hideous stock antenna and have always wondered if i could make a s2000 antenna work..

my stock ant. snapped off at the carwash, so i just broke it off all the way at the bottom and left it that way. thing looks awful when it's extended! if this shortened ant. can be installed somehow that would be perfect. anybody ever done this or know of a similar short antenna that will work?
