Re: getting past the firewall...

Hey man -- im going to try my best to help you. i ran a wire through the firewall a little while ago but my memory has faded since then. Get a flashlight, and shine it directly below the main stem of the driver side windshield wiper, with the hood up, of course. there is a plastic cork that is plugging up that hole to prevent water from leaking into the cabin. Pull the cork out and start wiring. take care

p.s. im not sure of the EXACT location of the hole, but look around and you'll find it, im a retard and i found it in like 2 minutes.

Nice response SprintMax. Pictures and everything. I wish I had known this location 7 years ago when my car was brand new. I cam in through the drivers side, in the door jamb.
Hey SprintMax, where did you get you grey leather shift boot? Looks sweet.

Get a drill and a unibit.

You can have as many holes as you want

chung, your engine bay is CLEAN!! dont forget to buy gromments at your local autoparts store. buy the assortment package for 2.99.. it makes sure the wire does not rub again metal which can be bad.

Did I miss something or is there another Chung on this board?

Sprint... shouldn't you be using a grommet like Wayne is stating? You don't want to start a fire or anything do ya?
