Weird cold idle
My car has this wierd idle until the engine warms up. (manual swapped with auto ECU)
SO i start the car and the rev settle at 1200 which is normal than they raise by them selves up to 2200 and stay there for about 1min or so and than slowly start loering back to 12000 and than finally 700. When i drive it and lets say i go out of gear becasue iwanan breake and i leave it in neutral the idle jumps to 1200/1300 and stays htere until the car comes to a complete rest and settles at 700. Is this normal????
i do have 3 codes:
TCM line communication with the autotranny
park neutral switch
EGR hi/low flow

most likely, egr. check for codes... 1005 usually will cause this. egrc solenoid valve. i'm having a similar problem and am looking into a used one. as the problem gets worse your rpm will sometimes even go up to 2000 and stay there until u shut the car off n turn it back on again... does that happen yet?
