Custom Enterprise is back but do they still have..

I was looking at the Custom Enterprise website and looking for the clear reds tale lights 97-99 models that they used to have on there site. I looked at e-bay there not caring anything now so is there any other aftermarket company that has some. And does anyone have any clue where to get some. Thanks.

Even if they're back, you shouldn't give them one friggin' dollar, so many people on here got peeled hardcore by them and they have no right operating a business. Read the vendor experience forum and go back about 2-3 pages, 1-year ago there was about 8 different threads and if you read any of them you will NEVER send any business there way!

Yea, this is not the same custom maxima/enterprise. The current one uses a New York phone number where as the old one was located in Danbury, CT. So the name was just bought out.

After reading the replies some are saying it's the same company some say it's the new company with new people. If so I was going to order some red clears and see if they have any but they don't. I don't how new they are but did anyone try calling them or finding out if the have the red clears tales because there an aftermarket company that has to meet customer satisfaction it includes having everything that a cutomer would like to have.

I am sure I could check the e-bay but e-bay sells them as is. (Correct ?) So I am sure those products are used or opened but could of not been put on by the purchaser so they have to sell it or they take over left over businesses like CE.

the ebay ones are aftermarket and just don't do it for me (fitment issues, poor customer service), but some people have them and like them. just be sure to insure them if you buy them, and make sure they're in stock before you pay. the details have gotten fuzzy over the years, but the ce red/clears were made using oem tail lights with the orange reflectors replaced. what i'm going to do for my prototype led tails is use the clear reflector out of a junk ebay set i have in the oem housing, assuming it fits.

How and what stratagy did they use to make there clears. I was hearing that there was a perfect fitment no issues what so ever and they used a real demo to make there stuff off of. I was thinking about flebay but I am sure I would wait for someone to make them again. It's aftermarkets like this that makes it harder to get the things you want I am sure our aftermarket supply is scarce and it sucks.

I call BS on that. There all aftermarket. Ive gotten red clears off Ebay, Redline and Custom Enterprise and they all looked the same.
I just recently bought another set off Ebay and they looked the same as the others except for one thing. They now have little red sections on the bottom outer tail at the end of the clear section. The older ones were all clear on the bottoms.
I remember reading back in the day that people believed CE had those and the clear lensed 95-96 headlights but Ebay soon had those as well.

nope, no bs here. description of the ce red/clears from cattman's website, which was taken directly from custommaxima.com back in the day:

"These clear taillights are brand new left and right side OEM Nissan taillights that have had the inner orange lens professionally removed and replaced with a precision-cut clear lens. It's a unique addition to the Maxima and goes perfect with the front clear corners. Price includes a brand new left and right side OEM outer taillight assembly, genuine Nissan silicone sealant, high quality amber and clear bulbs already installed, and detailed installation instructions."

*edit* maybe someone will chime in with verification of the nissan stamping on these, which i have seen with my own eyes when i bought them 5 years ago.

I remeber them doing that untill the red/ clears began being manufactured. Once the red clears were mass produced CE began selling them vs. the homemade ones.

How was the fitment on your latest pair?? Also how well does the clear lenses match up?

They fit fine, Ive never really had a problem with them fitting before.
The clear sections match up perfect since both outers and inners are aftermarket and manufactured together.

well thats good to hear, i have heard of people having issues with fitment. what i was thinking was having replicas of the oem orange reflectors made in clear which could be retrofitted into the oem housing. would anybody be interested?

if i do them they will actually look better than the ce (more like the ebay) bacause it would be a replica of the oem reflector. ce used a different texture than the oem so they didn't match perfectly. they would go into your oem housing so fitment would be factory good. i have to make some phone calls first to make sure it is cost effective.

Well if it's factory fittment oem and there's no problem let's do it and how about some kind of a supporting crew and some kind of demanding signitures to support this and make it official.
