JWT ECU RESULT

JWT ECU results if I have a fully bolted 4th gen...what can I expect...from off the line to top end..."WHAT CAN I EXPECT HOW MUCH OF A DIFFERENCE"

What's with the picture?

Define 'fully bolted'. Do you have a blower? If not, you're not 'fully bolted'.

What are you looking for? How fast it'll rev? How much power it will make? How fast it'll accelerate?

There's a 1/8th and 1/4 mi racing subforum and a dyno subforum for the latter two. For the first, virtually no difference from how you are now.

Search, JWT gains have been covered a multitude of times.

5-10hp and tq. if you have a VI it will be very effective because of the higher rev limiter.

Is there really a point to this thread???

I will say you have a good looking beige one there....a different wheel choice and it would be mint...

Oh and what pmohr said define full bolt on?

There will always been gains, whether or not your stock or have full bolt ons minus some form of F/I. When i hd the JWT ECU with the USIM there was crazy amounts of mid range tq/hp, it extended the rev limiter to 7200 whcih was absolutely useless unless you have a mevi/00vi, the usim makes like zero power past 6500rpm. Once i got the mevi, you can really feel the car pulling hard from about 5700rpm-7000rpm. Ill be 100% honest with you, as much as i like the mevi, i really would NOT get a mevi without a raised rev limiter, the car with the JWT ecu + USIM was really fun to drive, just hitting it in 1st gear with 235 series new tires (pilot sports) and smoking them is damn fun, with the mevi i can get them squealing in first only.

Really if i were to do it again i think it do an Emanage Ultimate/Blue. Just so much more you can do, right now with the JWT + SAFC2 im limited at only altering the A/F, i really wish i could bump up the timing

The Stillen V1/V2 supercharger kits were considered bolt on because no custom fabrication was required, so in theory they literally bolted on. But in most peoples cases some things were required to be relocated and such.

Yes the stillen SC kit consists of a Vortech V1/V2 Strim centrifugal blower. Its nothing new people had SCed maximas back in like 2000 lol..

Although technically you could consider any turbo kit a bolt on for the A32 as well, but seeing as how few of those there are in relation to stillen kits laying around, didn't even consider it really.

So if i am understanding this correctly, i remember reading that now lol. So by pulling fuel it is reducing the MAF voltage, therefore the computer is thinking less air is coming in so it bumps up the iginition timing?

But by pullin fuel i am leaning out the A/F ratio which can be un-desirable depending on what my AF currently is, so is this why i would get an adjustable fuel pressure regulator to bump up base fuel pressure, so i can effectively pull fuel over the whole rpm range to increase timing?

Just seeing if i am understanding this, i think i am still alittle off on the last paragraph lol.

On topic again, yeah even a lot of the bolt on turbo kits are rarely 100% bolt on, even the closest one, the one the doc had wasnt quite fully bolt on, i believe he still had to do a bit of customizing to get it to fit the way it should. very minimal but still in theory not 100% bolt on..but then again what is lol.

Yep, bump fuel pressure and reduce MAF voltage. Roughly same A/F, but more timing.
