how much is a tail at junk yard?

I just cleared one of my tails, and I craked the corner. Aproximately how much would 1 tail light be at the junk yard?

Make them an offer. I'd go for $30-$35. I'm about to clear my tails too and I really hope I don't crack them.

Oven? I've cleared the tails on three Maximas including my old one and there is noway an oven is going to work well. If it worked for you congrats, but that is too risky. I'm thinking It'll work but you'll probably end up with bubbles.

Have you tried the oven, or are you just saying that. If you just leave them in for 10 mins at 250 degrees, you can just pull the light apart like there's no glue. It's cheaper, and easier then a heat gun.

I havn't tried it. I wasn't trying to make a smart remark either, sorry if it sounded that way. It'll save me a good $40 from not having to buy a heatgun.

Someone recomended it in an earlier post, and I tried it. I can't imagine an easier way to do this. I'm just trying to share the info about this. I wasn't trying to snap back at you if that what you thought.

Let me ask you something, when you cut out the reflector piece, do you make it fit insife the housing part where the orange piece was, or inside the clear plastic part so it covers everything?

The lens are very ***ile. It's softer than a typical cd jewel case. It's not easy. I don't know why people think it's easy.

I was VERY skeptical about the oven method, since cooking car parts in the oven isn't a very smart idea. However 200 at 10 minutes did it just fine. I think we turned it up to 250 after 5 minutes, but I don't remember. All I know is that it was easier, and cheaper than renting a heat gun.
