I gotta change my interior, last year I bought some leather seats from the junk yard and BIG MISTAKE, they tore pretty quick and look awful and dirty.

How much for a half way decent interior? My interior is naturally badge but I went with all black from a 96 max and I regret, my interior is so damn ugly I hate driving in my own car.

I want to go back to all badge but I need everything except the dashboard, my car needs to be put to sleep car is ugly and terrible... god I need a better job.

Anyway in the meantime before I burn the car down, what can I do to improve the nasty ghetto interior of me.

I also want to change the floor carpet, that smells like crap also.

Well you can always try to find a car with good intrior and swap it out man. If theres nothing really wrong with the car dont sell.

Well I can't figure out of you originally had beige and went to black or if you just got black seats. I assume you have all black now. What is so bad about it just the seats? You can get new seat covers for front and back for like $800 from leatherseats.com. Or you can look for a nice set on ebay, another junkyard, or the classifieds. If your whole interior is nasty why did you buy it in the first place? And if it was clean when you got it and it is as bad as you make it sound, then you are one dirty *** person.

Honestly he can get the carpet from like jc whitney . not going to fit but with a lil time make it work. And thats like maybe 100 bucks . Then as you said usewd seats in good comdition or get seat covers. There are options. BUt i wouldnt sell for that. Because if your interior is that bad aint nobody gon buy it either.

so i must be misunderstanding, you have all black interior and you don't like it, whats wrong with it??? is the dash crackes and **** is faded??? throw some armor all on it lol, but ijmo i love the black interior, and do the 97's come with the tweeters in the doors like that factory, mine are in the pillars, i have a 95

The front seats have a couple cracks in them, I will take pics tomorrow and show, I want to go back to beige. Also I will be getting rid of the whole interior. I live in Fla but I really don't want to spend so much for shipping so I prefer meeting up in person to do this swap.

Once again, I'll post interior pictures tomorrow.

I personally don't think black goes with green but thats my opinion. Your interior wouldn't be so bad if it was either all black or all brown.

Wow, you weren't kidding. I'm guessing they began to crack once you put em to normal use?

I'd suggest just searching for a set on eBay (and hope the seats were treated well). I managed to grab a good set of fronts for around $300 shipped and got a steal on i30 rear for under $100 shipped. Also keep an eye out in the Classifieds forum, hopefully there's another ORGer who took care of their set that's looking to sell/part out.

Go to a U pull it and get one. It will save you $110 plus shipping. I know there is a good looking black carpet a my local U pull it and a gray one too. I replaced my moldy carpet that way, looks like new. Best $9 I ever spent!

There was a set of black 'leather' seat from a 99 Maxima on eBay a few days ago, don't know if it's still there. But that's another place to look, in addition to the classifieds. Otherwise, pony up $700-800 for leather seat covers and money to buy a few buddies some beer to help you put them on.

I bought black interior carpet from Stockinteriors.com and just put it in over this past Thanksgiving break. The molding and fit is very nice and it looks amazing. Consider them if you're swapping out carpet.

Our seats ARE leather. Vinyl doesn't become hard and dry in the same manner leather does. The part that we sit on is real leather. Same for the back. Everything ELSE is vinyl, like the sides, back, and armrest for the rear.
