wtf...???? i wouldnt buy cattman cause its way too overpriced. the only difference in buying cattman is you are buying a name brand. i would go with lss exhaust personally, otherwise warpspeed is fine too. just make sure to buy one thats stainless steel.
fitment on the Warpspeed could be better, though. Extra money spent on a properly fitting exhaust is the worth the premium.
It was sarcasm. The quality of the flex section and fitment are really important and were not uniform throughout the selection of y-pipes last time I checked. If you want an intrinsic exhaust leak and a exhaust that's rusted through, by all means go for the cheapest y pipe you can find.
Because otherwise you're a) assuming someone else knows exactly what they're talking about, or b) talking out of your ***.
There have been issues raised with the "lesser" y-pipes, but I haven't heard any issues with cattman pipes besides the price.
To offset my sarcastic comment I will ask the most important question:
What is "good" to you? Value? Quality? Function? Sound? Reputation?
To get a decent answer, a decent question must be asked. Otherwise we continue the discussion and Morpheus picks on more people.

I used to think that too. And I'll admit cattman is a bit over-priced.
I finally got tired of buying cheap crap. Not to say that warpspeed is crap...but if you can afford it, cattman is much better quality.
To me, it's worth the extra money because I KNOW that I can do it once, and I won't have to f**k with it anymore.
Plus Brian Catts is a good guy. He's helped me plenty, and he'll stand by his products should you have a problem.
EDIT: with all that said...I've had an aluminzed warpspeed Y for about a year and a half, still in good shape. Warpspeed does have good prices...

Cattman Headers + Y-pipe is the best. I have it on my 1998 Nissan Maxima. The whole set speaks for itself. Its guranteed 15-20 horsepower. Its a little expensive but you're getting what you're paying for always remember that. There are not fitment issues on that set at all. Bolts right up to your catalytic converter easily. Don't forget to use WD-40, or be ready to break some bolts.

for the not so newbie
Warpspeed y-pipes are kinda known to rattle against the crossmember. I'd go for the cattman if you can afford to. How much do you respect your maxima?
Oh yea, warpspeed's customer service blows. Look no further than the SFC debacle...

Just dont buy from warpspeed when it comes to ANYTHING... That should make it a pretty easy choice.
