custom shift boot

K, so to keep it from going onto the prnd display I sewed a piece of an old hanger into the bottom of the boot. you need to cut out a piece that's 13cm long.

Yeah, described it perfect. The boots you can buy (like I have) already have a "loop" sewn into them for the 5-speed guys to put something through, but I never used it. I may be inclined to cut a small section and loop it through and fasten it under the PRND display somehow. The way you did it looks GREAT though. I will definitely be switching over my winter break.

As for resale, that's why I kept all my stock equipment and didn't cut the shifter I may cut it now that this is an option, though.
