Is it mechanically stuck (OD button), or just wont turn on even after the button is depressed? Button lets a small 'clicking' noise letting the user know it has been pressed.

Aren't only 95-96 click on/off? I thought 97-99 have a momentary push button for O/D. May be relevant, maybe not.

mine is a 95 model, does the drop resistor mod have anything to do with this, b/c i have mine hooked up to a switch in my car and i usually shut my car off then flip the switch and start it back up again but i was in a hurry b/c we heard the cops coming and i just flipped it and lined up. after i got back into town i shut my car off and flipped it back then when i started it the o/d light blinked(like it always does after the drop res) and it went off, i cruised and drove about 45 miles to my freinds house and back and got home and went to bed, then this morning it is ****ed up

ok i tried the auto tranny code check in the fault indicater sticky but nothing blinked at me and nothing happened, the codes i got off my car are these...
0103
OBD-2 Diagnostic Trouble Codes are always four digits. Your DTC "13" is actually "0103", and it points to the Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor.

(^^^^^even tho i ****ing changed it about a week ago..)

0303
Diagnostic Trouble Code 0303 indicates a problem with the front Oxygen Sensor on the left cylinder bank.

0401
Diagnostic Trouble Code 0401 points to a problem with the Intake Air Temperature Sensor.

and 1205 which i do not have access to that link for some reason but i think it is the drop resister

Explain

Your OD switch in the shift lever is 'out', as in FUBAR'd? Or physically out?
