Problem rear is saggy and how can I lift up a little have tokico illuminas and tokico springs the drop in back the stance looks saggy. Is there any bushings or tricks or something that I can lift.

i kinda have the same problem with my illumina/progress set-up. I would expect this if I had audio equipment in the trunk, but I don't! I just don't get it...

Exactly I do NOT have nothing completely empty and absolutely nothing inside. I think the rear link or whatever that bar is held with some bushings or can it get bent or lose its placement I have seen some abused maxima's saggy while other's look very upright with and without a spoiler. I was going to put shims but didnt have time to create my back shocks were mismatched and was a great stance but like a boat in rough seas had to change immediately. HELp Help help any ideas for quick fix....

 

found the problem! should've gotten Eibachs....

maybe set the shocks to 5 and remove the spare tire?

I doubt you're gonna change the stance much...at least nothing noticeable. My guess is the springs just make the car sit that way.

I bought new shocks and spring and mine is good now

 

It is possible to modify Spring Helpers to add a little height.

 

A lot of you guys don't know what you're talking about. The Maxima in general has a higher wheel gap in front no matter what. All coilovers can be set at the same height to have an even drop and the Maxima will still have a sagging rear. It is the biggest reason why most drops have a bigger drop in front than rear. Stock suspensions son't have adjustments fro height so the Maxima will alaways look it's higher in front. Eibachs do the crappiset job as far as an even drop. They however, do the best job in performance.

 

Wish yall would of said this before. I have 235/50/17 on the back of my car and 235/45/17 on the front and I just ordered 4 235/45/17 for all 4 wheels and now I know why it has 50's on the back.

If they actually do the crappiest job, all the others must do a damn good job. I think mine look great. It's perfectly level right now. I'm not saying the gaps are the same, but the car sits level. IMO the overall stance of the car is more noticeable than the gaps. Therefore it looks fine to me.

Mine is a 5spd with no spare tire and a sub in the trunk. With my old auto, the front end was a bit lower than the 5spd, the gaps were even and it leaned forward just the perfect amount IMHO.

spacers didnt work........I remember way back someone posted link to 1/2 in shim plate that is cut out perfect to fit on top of mounting plate anyone know of that website

when you say sag, do you mean wheel gap or the overall stance. most want even wheel gap and overall stance. but i notice the rear always have smaller gap than the front,even with my auto,with the trunk loaded or not.overtime the springs do sag even stock. however my stance, actual height, is still higher in the rear even with smaller wheel gap. this is with the car being lowered on h&r with cheap monroe struts. so i loaded it with full dynamat, stock spoiler, 2 12w6 in a large ported box, and a full matching 18in rim. now the stance is the same but the rear looked lower cuz the gap. but the actual ht from the side skirts ft and rear are pretty close to even which i did on alignment rack.

 

Ive had my tokico set up for over a year now and no sagging in the rear for me. Its still even. Thats one thing this set up was known for. An even drop without the sagging. Check sig

 

I would like to say that if my back seat and trunk was full of people and weight I would like the stance to be what it is right now. So I just need a 1/2 inch lift so it could be perfect.
