transmission fluid change?
I'm ready to change out my transmission fluid, however I think I going to switch to a synth. oil.
Question, what type should I purchase and how many quarts should I purchase. Also, will it hurt to add additional additives into the mix?
The last time I changed I pulled the pan off and changed the filter and It only took 5qts?

Total fluid takes about 11 quarts, drain and refill is 4-5 quarts. I wouldn't add any additives. I use Redline D4 in my 99 auto gxe.
