sticky valve???

sticky valve???

i turned my car on and its making a knocking noise...someone told me they think its a sticky valve...is this true...has neone else had this problem...and how do i fix it

How's the oil level? Need better description on the noise before we can tell you :wtf to do. One key item on this forum, BE AS DESCRIPTIVE AS YOU POSSIBLY CAN.

how many miles on the car? does it go away after a little bit?
i put my money on worn timing components.

might want to check for exhaust leaks, especially if you have aftermarket stuff on there.
my y-pipe used to tick because the front wasn't tight enough.
