i have received a motor. i can say that with the weight of a motor it is important on how it is transported. i got mine on a simple palet jack and it was tied up with rope and string. during shipping because everything was so tight, a connector or two was broken off the wiring harness. the brake booster nipple was broken off the UIM.
Perhaps call some junkyards in your area and see who they use. You may also want to ship from terminal to terminal and not door to door. Especially residential--most shippers will not land large freight at a residence. Then it's up to you to get it from the terminal to your door.
